What does the SWAT MC Colors (vest patch) mean to you? Our SWAT MC colors stand for sisterhood, unity and strength. I think it also means that we are true to what we do whether it is something dealing with the community or our families and we stand behind what we do 100 percent. What is your first Motorcycling memory? My first memory was my first year away in college in NC. At the time a friend of mine was dating a guy that rode and she wanted me to go out with them riding; at first I was nervous plus I had never been on the back of a motorcycle before, but once I got on and the nerves went away, all I can remember is loving how it felt to be on that motorcycle. Then I realized that I loved it so much that I didn't want to ride on the back of one else’s anymore so I decided to get my own. And here I am 7 years later doing something that I love to do...RIDE! What is your most embarrassing Motorcycling memory? My most embarrassing motorcycling memory was when I decided to buy my motorcycle before I knew how to ride one so one day I decided or thought I was going to pull the bike out by myself & try to learn how to ride or at least get the feel for it. The bike was on a small incline on some grass and as I was trying to move it (I was a little scared) the bike started falling to the right side and I got so scared that it was going to fall over on me and no one would be able to help me so I just jumped off and let it fall. Down she goes! I had to call my cousin that lived up the street from me (luckily) to help me get the bike up. She thought it was too funny. I'm just glad no one was around to see it all happen. And, finally what advice would you give to a novice rider and/or future prospective member of SWAT MC? My advice would be to always look out for each other. You need to feel confident with the bike you choose to ride and you should ride as often as possible and try to avoid riding alone.
